Don Tracy: Prominent Democrats Are Rejecting Juliana Stratton’s Extreme Politics
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Don Tracy said the comments highlight how out-of-touch Stratton’s campaign has become with the concerns of everyday Illinoisans.
“Even Democrats like Bill Maher and John Fetterman can recognize that Juliana Stratton’s extreme views and approach to politics represent the worst of modern politics,” said Republican U.S. Senate candidate Don Tracy. “Their conversation highlights how out-of-touch Stratton’s campaign has become with the concerns of Illinoisans. Families struggling with rising costs, unsafe neighborhoods, and economic uncertainty are not looking for vulgar political performance art. They’re looking for serious leadership and common sense solutions.”
“Let’s face it, Stratton’s campaign appears far more focused on supporting Governor Pritzker’s ongoing political war against the President, and Pritzker's positioning himself to run for President, than explaining what qualifies her to be a United States Senator.”
Under the Pritzker-Stratton administration, Illinois families have experienced rising taxes and fees, increasing utility costs, serious public safety concerns, and continued population and economic decline. Those issues deserve far more attention than extreme partisan theatrics.
“Juliana Stratton resorts to publicity stunts and shock-value politics because she must not want to address the hard issues of the day. The policies she’s pushed have made Illinois more expensive, less safe, and have driven businesses and families out of the state. So she’s trying to distract voters instead of answering for the results.
“I’m running to lower the cost-of-living, restore public safety, grow jobs, and represent all of Illinois, and not to audition for MSNBC panels or presidential campaign talking points.”
