Don Tracy Announces 46 Endorsements from Sangamon County Leaders
SPRINGFIELD — U.S. Senate candidate Don Tracy today announced endorsements from 46 local elected officials and community leaders in Sangamon County, his home county, marking a significant show of support from those who know him best.
The endorsements carry particular weight because they come from leaders who have worked closely with Tracy over many years, personally and professionally, and who have seen firsthand his leadership, judgment, and commitment to serving families and small businesses throughout Central Illinois.
“As someone who has lived, raised a family, and built my career in Sangamon County, this support means the world to me,” said Tracy. “These leaders have had the most direct access to me over the years. They’ve seen how I work, how I lead, and how I treat people. Their confidence in me to execute the responsibilities of a United States Senator is deeply appreciated.”
Tracy’s campaign is centered on strength, leadership, and common sense solutions, starting with lowering the cost-of-living for working families and ensuring every one of Illinois’ 102 counties has a voice in Washington.
“With Senator Dick Durbin retiring, we are at a turning point,” Tracy added. “When he steps down, every statewide elected official will live in Chicago or Cook County. With my long history in Western, Eastern, and Central Illinois, I will be able to represent all of Illinois, not just Chicago.”
